COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution
Metro Community Health Center is currently only scheduling second doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. If you received your first dose at Metro, you will be contacted to schedule your second dose within 28-42 days of receiving your first dose. If you received a first dose from a provider other than Metro, per the state guidelines you must contact that provider to receive your second dose. Metro is not permitted by the state to administer second doses to people who did not receive their first doses with us.
Metro will update our website with a vaccine eligibility quiz and the ability to self-schedule a vaccine appointment once we receive more first doses of the vaccine, so please continue to check this tab periodically for those updates.
Metro is following all state and CDC guidelines and the vaccine will be made available to everyone who is eligible once we receive more doses, regardless of whether or not you are a patient with us.
In advance, thank you for your understanding and patience. Rest assured, we will be getting vaccines into arms as quickly as humanly possible.
Doing her part to end the pandemic, Dr. Kathy Homrok, Chief Medical Officer and one of Metro's founders, leads by example by being the first Metro employee to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
