A Letter to Our Patients-7/15/22

July 15, 2022

To our patients,

Metro Community Health Center has made a few changes to our clinic in our ongoing pursuit of providing our patients with the best possible care environment. Additionally, we have announcements of news and great events on the horizon. For the time being, the waiting rooms of each our clinics (Medical, Mental Health, and Dental) will be locked, and patients will simply need to press the call button and be buzzed in. Furthermore, we now have a security guard located outside of the 4th floor elevator. There is new signage posted to inform patients about these changes and how to access the waiting rooms.

You may have seen our signature blue table and white tent around town at events this summer! Metro has been participating in a large number of community events and will continue to do so! This month, on the weekend of July 30-31, Metro will be sponsoring Black Pride in Schenley Park, as well as various farmer’s markets around the city. We hope to see you at these events!

Finally, The Pittsburgh Foundation is hosting its annual Critical Needs Alert fundraising event on August 9th, and Metro will once again be participating! The Critical Needs Alert is an opportunity to raise money for Metro, so we can continue doing the work our patients and community depends on. Every donation made to Metro on that day will be partially matched by the Pittsburgh Foundation and will go directly towards the costs of Metro’s programs and services. To participate, follow the link below on August 9th and make your contribution!
